Citrus, Fine, Lively

An intriguing invitation to a party. Very acidic, good persistence, fine perlage, from the first grape harvest in 1986, the Blanc De Blanc Anna Botti is a joyous expression of bubbles, sharing a happy time.

Grapes: 100% Chardonnay.

Vinification: after a scrupulous qualitative selection of the bunches, the grapes in small crates are brought to the cellar for immediate pressing. The must obtained ferments in steel and wood, at a controlled temperature of 16 ° C and is aged on “noble lees” throughout the winter. In spring, cutting is also carried out with old vintages, bottling and second fermentation; the bottles are then left lying down for a second refinement lasting at least 24 months, in contact with the yeasts. This is followed by the remuage operation on the pupitres, then the disgorgement. Before being marketed, the wine is refined in the bottle, in an air-conditioned environment, for about six months. Color: Pale straw yellow with green notes.

Colour: straw-yellow of medium intensity with delicate pale green memories, a fine, abundant and continuous perlage.

Aroma: a very clean aroma that highlights from the start fragrant white flowers like elderflower and jasmine, grapefruit zest and candied ginger, followed by aromatic herbs like wild fennel and mint, with a slightly balsamic and spicy finish of white pepper.

Palate: an excellent pressure and dynamism on tasting; creamy effervescence, the well-balanced salinity and freshness offer an interesting balance. The sip is gratifying, full-flavoured and fine.

Serving temperature: to be served at 5-7°C in a medium-sized and fairly slender glass.
